While these days you can scarcely pry my Nintendo Switch from my hands when I am deep in a flow state designing a home in Animal Crossing's DLC, I barely touched Nintendo products as a child. Instead, I grew up playing the PlayStation. For a very long time, the only games I owned were an Aladdin in Nasira's Revenge, The Land Before Time: Return to the Great Valley, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and WWE Smackdown. My favorite character to play was Chyna, a ferocious-looking female wrestler.
Playable female characters in fighting games are not really new news. When I finally started warming up to Nintendo games in college, I played my fare share of Super Smash Bros games as Princess Peach. However, imagine a game where each playable character were a Disney Princess and each one has her own moves based off of her personality and lore from the movies. The game itself doesn't exist, but Disney fan Chip Richman has designed some impressive fan art based on the idea. Scroll down to find out what your favorite princess's special fighting move would be!
