Hey there, feline fanatics. Let's talk litter boxes. It might not be the most glamorous topic, but if you have ever lived with a cat or five, you know it is an essential part of daily life. Recently, we tried upgrading our setup with a fancy enclosed litter box that had a cute little cat door. It looked impressive, but we quickly learned that our favorite deodorizer did not hold up well in a closed space. The result was less than delightful.
So we went back to basics. Multiple open-top litter boxes with soft, hypoallergenic litter have made a triumphant return in our household. Our cats are clearly fans, and to be honest, so are we. Sometimes simple really is best, especially when it comes to our cats' comfort and our noses' happiness. Of course, after cleaning out the litter box, a little pick-me-up is in order.
