Ahoy there, pirates and patriots of Cheezcake. Money is a wile invention by man. It's necessary, but harmful. It's a great evil of the world, and a great joy. There's no better feeling than being financially stable and secure, to feel comfortable about paying for the things you love and deserve. I know that I wasn't always financially secure, so being so now is such a relief off of my shoulders. I love saving my money, and I also love spending my money for high quality ingredients like pasta, cheeses, and nice drinks. At times when you don't feel as financially comfortable, it can get in the way of your mental health.

Planning a wedding can also get in the way of your mental health, and some of that is obviously about the finances. Weddings are expensive, people can spend up to $100k on their wedding, and that doesn't include the honeymoon!

In the story below, the protagonist is a man whose friend is getting married. His friend group has decided to chip in to the wedding and pay for the honeymoon, which isn't a small feat. What kind of friend group agreement is this? Why should his friends be responsible for paying for his honeymoon or other wedding expenses? That's pretty bizarre, not to mention the fact that the protagonist said he can still afford to fork up enough sums for his friend's honeymoon.
