28-year-old refuses to be older sister's maid of honor after she bailed 2 days before her wedding because her 14-year-old dog passed: 'She missed one of the biggest days of my life'

This was an issue that one woman couldn't get past when her older sister asked if she would be the maid of honor at her upcoming wedding. She refused, on the grounds that at her wedding the previous year, her sister had cancelled on her own maid of honor duties two days before because of the unexpected passing of her elderly dog.
The bride-to-be was extremely upset by her response, and she accused her of being petty. The woman wanted to know if she was being unreasonable.
