With dating apps, it seems like there's always someone out there to be with, and that you should never settle when there's the mere sniff of a red flag. The thing about dating apps is that it's an illusion. There's not all these wonderful matches waiting for you. Maybe there are people out there, but they may not be good people, or people you want to spend time with. It's a logical fallacy that you have endless options. There's a reason people get stuck on the apps, and it's sometimes the fact that people have become so picky that they'll never find anyone.

In the story below, the protagonist is a man who has specifically said on his profile that he's extremely upset by people being late, that it's his biggest red flag, and that punctuality is of the highest importance to him. If you ask me, this dude is kind of insane. There's a laundry list of other red flags, but maybe he just doesn't have a ton of experience.

This man seems like a nightmare to date. I mean, he seriously put on his profile that being late is his biggest red flag? Not lying, or cheating, or gaslighting someone, or being overly possessive or jealous? Being….late? Wow, I can't wait for the day he's stuck in traffic for a date and shows up late.
