There are so many ways to be a bad parent. It's way easier to deprioritize a kid's emotional, educational, or medical needs than you might think. So many parents believe that they know better than teachers, doctors, and other professionals because their "mama hearts" are telling them they're correct. It can be tempting to homeschool your kids so you can spend 24 hours a day, seven days a year, with them, but if they're social butterflies who need more interaction with other kids than soccer practice can provide, homeschooling might not be a good option! Just because a kid cries when they go to the pediatrician doesn't mean that they're insidious and harmful to them. If you have a baby, you can't be the baby, and indulging in everything you want as a parent is just as bad, if not worse, than indulging in everything a kid wants.
