21 Derpiest Doggo Expressions From the Diving Dog Championship to Send Your Serotonin Levels to the Moon

Dogs make the silliest faces. Whomever said that dogs don't have personalities—a hater, obviously—was totally wrong. Whether they're born with those feisty little quirks or if their nurture contributed to their overall persona, dogs have bigger personalities than some hoomans. And that expressiveness comes out at the funniest moments, showing us a glimpse of what kind of tomfoolery is going down in that little zoomiefied noggin of theirs. 

Recently, a photographer took up the challenge of documenting dog sporting events. Agility, competitive frisbee, and my personal favorite, dock diving. If you're unfamiliar, dock diving is a fun and silly dog sport where high-flying pups are trained to leap at full velocity from a dock to try and grab their favorite toy. And just before they splash down into the safety of the pool, dog-lovers are left with some of the most adorable and derpiest dog expressions ever captured on film.
