Company driver gets reported by coworker for breaking minor rule, gets payback by driving entitled coworker on the longest shift possible: ‘An extra 5 hours where he just had to sit there’

If a workplace doesn't have camaraderie among coworkers, it makes the overall environment on the job much less pleasant and much more hostile.

Coworkers should have each other's backs, should be there for one another no matter what. They should come together whenever one of them is wronged and stand up against the management to fight for their rights. Without this sense of trust, you constantly have to look over your shoulder, and you constantly feel judged by everyone, and if you ask me, that does not sound like a place I would like to work at.

If you do find yourself working in a place where one or more coworkers are making it clear it is every man for himself type of workplace, then you have to find a way to have your own back. You need to hold firm and keep your head high, no matter what others throw at you, even if it means getting petty or malicious from time to time.

This driver found himself working with an entitled coworker who was definitely not a camaraderie type of guy. In fact, he reported the driver to management the second he saw the driver doing something that was against the company's laws.
Fortunately, the driver can look after himself, and he decided to get back at the entitled coworker by playing by his own rules – strictly and slowly following the rules.
