Neighbor refuses to let the lady next door borrow her car again after the entitled only-child takes advantage of her generosity: ‘It took her more than 5 hours to return it and she used up all my fuel’

Call it what you will, but this entitled neighbor got what she deserved after taking advantage of the woman's kindness next door. Perhaps a dose of CARma will teach her a lesson about borrowing people's things…

When we're young, we learn that when you borrow something or share something with someone, the polite thing to do is to return it in better shape than when you got it. Growing up, whenever my dad borrowed someone's truck for a job or needed some tools from a buddy, he'd deep clean everything, fill the tank, and give it a good shine before returning it. And that's why people kept lending him their stuff!

Alas, those good ol' boy values were lost on the lady in this next tale.

Clearly suffering from adult-onset only-child syndrome, she felt entitled to everyone's possessions, including her neighbor's car. After pathetically begging to borrow it for a quick 1-hour appointment, her neighbor obliged, knowing it was tough to get a taxi or an Uber in their town. But when she returned it 6 hours later with an empty gas tank and no ‘thank you,' the feeling of generosity dissipated into disgust.
