I am so thankful to be out of the roommate-era of my life. Sure, I live with my partner, who sometimes feels like roommate, admittedly. While we don't always see eye-to-eye on what is considered a clean apartment or how big the laundry pile should be before one of us does it, we at least don't have to write our names on food we don't want the other to eat or make a chore chart. Since we buy most things together, we also don't have to worry about the other getting more use out of a singular appliance.

In our story today, a woman retaliates against her freeloader roommate's refusal to pay the rent by limiting her access to household items that she has paid for. Microwave? Gone. Wifi? Disconnected.
