Girls night is incredibly important for female mental health. My besties and I usually meet up after work on Monday evenings. This last week we actually weren't supposed to meet up at all. I was feeling under the weather over the weekend and assumed that I'd be better off resting; one friend had made plans with some dude, and the third friend was in her feels over her long-distance relationship.

However, when Monday rolled around, we all realized last-minute that we needed each other. So, we cancelled our other plans and got over our weird feelings to hash things out together over some drinks and sushi.
