With mischievous eyes and sweet faces, ferrets are undeniably adorable. Just like this little guy in his hoodie!
They will entertain you endlessly with their antics and will happily play with toys! Remind you of another animal?
Ferrets, like dogs, love attention and will usually crave it and seek it from their owners. They are very social, so it's actually a good idea to get another one for them to interact with and play.
Get this! Some owners are amazed at how adept ferrets become at solving problems and training their owners. Ferrets are very determined and will work at figuring something out with surprising persistence!
Don't freak out by the picture! Ferrets don't take up much room because of how small they are, yet they are active! Ideal ferret cages are tall with multiple levels, so they still don't take up too much room.
While they can and do vocalize, for the most part they are very quiet.
This is especially true now that a variety of good quality ferret foods have become more widely available.
Ferrets can be trained to go in a box, however they aren't as precipitant about it as cats.
They can get all the exercise they need tearing around your home! With a ferret-sized harness and a little training, you can take them out for a stroll, just like cats.
Like any animal, every ferret is different. They have their own personality. Some can be independent, while others can be very clingy.
