I go through phases every once in a while where I want to learn how to be a tattoo artist. Ink on skin is so beautiful, and I'd love to be able to put my Fine Arts degree to good use by permanently marking someone's body with a piece of art that will last a lifetime. The process for becoming a tattoo artist is not so easy, though, and it takes years of dedication to start putting your designs on people's bodies. Some tattoo artists don't even design their own stuff – they just let their clients bring in what they want, and they redraw it with needle and ink like an organic copy machine.
Tattoo artist @shelotattoo certainly designs their own tattoos. While they are inspired by the beloved anime One Piece, their homage to the show is not limited to basic fan art.
