    A Pocket Full of Adorable Animal Crossing Memes That Are at Least a C+ Bass

    Welcome, villagers. I've got over 100 hours on Animal Crossing. That may not seem like a lot, but I only started playing in February. To be completely honest, I've sort of abandoned the main plot in favor of the DLC – Happy Home Paradise. I feel pretty bad about not having given my villagers gifts, earned Nook Miles, or even planted a money tree. It's just that my island is in a pretty ugly, awkward place right now. It's barren, and I don't have the recipes or furniture to make it look how I want just yet. But the DLC is all about decorating, and I find it so relaxing to make cute, themed rooms without worrying about having to build the inventory.

    Some people find Animal Crossing hard to get into because you can't really advance a ton just by playing more. You have to play a little each day and move towards your goals little by little; it requires a lot of patience!
