    'The cake that got my coworker fired': 30 Bakers who had bad days in the kitchen

    What better way to celebrate your birthday, anniversary, or retirement party than with a delicious cake? All you have to do is plan the party, get your decorations, and order a cake from the bakery. At many bakeries, you can select the flavor and icing that you want, then write in your own personalized message for that special someone in your life. Seems easy, right? Instead of spending hours shopping for all the ingredients and baking it yourself (not to mention icing it!), you pay a professional. Most of the time, you end up with a gorgeous, photogenic cake that'll wow everyone at the party. But we all know that's not what we're here to see today! We're here to see the goofiest ways that bakeries have botched people's desserts, as well as a few people who made some delicious mistakes all on their own. 

    Sometimes these are innocent mistakes. You can tell that someone wrote instructions in the box where they were supposed to write the cake's message. Someone at the bakery, either because they were careless or perhaps didn't speak the language, just piped the phrase right on there. It's very funny when this happens, but believe it or not, some bakeries make even worse cake mistakes than that! Check out a slice of these freshly baked mistakes below.
