Pawrent furious with incompetent veterinarian after spaying her cat twice but fail to complete the job, forcing her to pay for a third surgery after realizing her cat was still in heat: ‘I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy’

Howdy, feline fans. Normally, we would start off by saying "Happy Meownday", but after reading this story, we're feline furious instead of pawsitive. It takes a lot to trust someone with your fur baby, right? You're purrfectly protective of them, and you would think that all veterinarians would be trustworthy. It makes sense, right? These individuals went through around eight years of schooling to take care of pets. You don't just randomly decide to do that with your life. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication, so you would think that every single one of them cared about their precious patients.

However, we have learned today that that is not 100% true. One cat mom took her cat in to get fixed, and according to the shelter where she adopted her from, the vet already completed the surgery. Well, mating season came around and she got into heat again, so she went back to said vet and did another spay. What happened next? She finds out that her cat still needs another surgery. This is a very impurrtant PSA to all current and future cat owners: do your research on your vets. Not all vet clinics are the same. Sometimes, it takes a bit of shopping around to find the right one. But once you do, it's totally worth it.

We're not usually one to jump to “lawyering up," but in this case, we absolutely would. Spay surgeries are not cheap, and we're not made of money. Plus, we can't imagine the stress of putting our cat through three different surgeries. Both their stress, and ours!
