If you're upset with your spouse, tattling to the boss is only going to make things worse. Instead of discussing things civilly with just the two of you, now there's a third person involved, and it's the guy who controls your finances! You'd think that this stay-at-home mom would value her husband's job a little more, but she also seems pretty upset that he didn't bring her along to a work party.
As this woman explains, her husband purposefully excluded her from a work event where other spouses were invited. That must sting, and it doesn't bode well for their relationship. If you resent your spouse and are embarrassed to have them around, it shows. People can tell! Their whole story here is just a piece of the bigger issues in their relationship, and the way this woman escalated things is going to add fuel to the fire.
