I'd do anything for hair like the elves. Tamable, illustrious, long, and beautiful, the elvish hairstyles seem like Middle Earth's most low-maintenance looks. In my dreams, I have soft perfect hair like the Rivendell elves, but in reality, I'm more like the frizzy-haired dwarves of Erebor in the kingdom under the mountain. Alas, once again my real-world lore is far less enticing than that of Tolkien's Middle Earth.
If only life could be more like the Lord of the Rings.
In peacetime, I could happily live forever in the foothills of the Shire, taking daily strolls through the grassy knolls, reading a book under a tree, and enjoying the nightly feast with the whole town. Flowers would always be blooming and crispy sweet carrots would always be in season, and someone somewhere would always be cracking open a deliciously aged wheel of cheese. Hobbit life could easily suit me, just as much as the elvish ways. While sporting the looks of the elves, the lifestyle of the hobbits, and the peaceful existence of a Fifth Age Middle Earth, life would be pretty dang good.
