'Get out of my home': Entitled mom ruins DnD game night by bringing her unruly toddler and breaking every house rule, Dungeon Master kicks her out

Dungeons and Dragons is an all-encompassing game. A player must immerse themselves in the lore of the character, visualize the treacherous caverns of their DM's fantasy world, and they can completely hurl themselves into the exhilarating world of make-believe. But with a sticky-handed toddler putting choking-hazard game pieces in their mouth and chasing down the highly-anxious family dog, it's tough to focus on your highly anticipated game play.

This is why it's always so hard for parties to invite a new player into the fold. You never know if your friend-of-a-friend is going to be an entitled mom who brings along a saucy two-year-old to your game night, set on ignoring every house rule and ruining the sanctity of your DnD night. This Dungeon Master wasn't having it and put her foot down against a woman who treated her home like a rule-free playground.

In my opinion, this DM was pretty level-headed in handling this situation. After being clear about their house boundaries, like ‘Don’t touch the dog,' ‘Don’t dirty the game pieces,' and ‘Don’t destroy the guest bathroom,' they managed to give this entitled mom three strikes before calling her out!
