If you had a time-turner, what would you have used it for?
Unlike Hermione, I imagine most normal people would not use a time-turner so they could go to even more classes at school. She was one of a kind, and we respect her, but she was also crazy. There are so many things one can do with a time turner that could improve their lives so much, and we need to discuss those right now.
First off, think about all the sleep you could get. Have to be at work at 9 AM? No problem. You can sleep until 10, wake up, get ready for the day, use your time-turner to wind back 2 hours, and leave for work while your past self is still sleeping in bed, literally foolproof.
Secondly, assuming it doesn't create a paradox, there are so many decisions I regretted making that I would have loved to change. I'm not talking about life-changing decisions, more like awkward and cringy comments I made that I wish I hadn't. If I could go back in time and send an email warning myself from saying or doing stupid things, you can bet I would jump on that opportunity.
