This one is extra egregious
One of the best (and most memorable) parts of going to a wedding is eating some delicious food. Asking guests to bring their own is just kind of sad. Even a pot-luck-style wedding feels like it's asking too much of your guests. After all, they're already buying you a gift, wearing an expensive outfit, and taking time from their weekend to celebrate you. The least you can do is feed them.
