Because, naturally, when you say that adults shouldn't live with their parents to your kicked-out 18-year-old, you can expect that to come and bite you in the rear 20 years later when you need a hand-out. Just because you're a biological parent doesn't make you Mom or Dad—that's a title you've got to earn.

Never quite a mother herself, this SAHM took on the life of a retired old lady in her 20s, refusing to work or be a parent in any capacity.
