Forget springtime birdcalls, disc golfers are patiently awaiting the rattling chain sound of a sunk basket. The only thing real disc-ers are excited about with the coming of spring and beautiful weather is a nice little walk around the disc course with their buds, sipping suds, and pulling new gear out of their disc bag. Because when the sun is shining, the discs are flying.
Although you've never practiced putting, always cheat a little when your disc flies in the trees, and dread the inevitability of a lost disc in the water feature, disc golf has proven to be your favorite sporty hobby you've ever tried. Alas, while everyone was rock climbing, LARPing, or playing Magic the Gathering, you got your closest crew of beer-bellied, indoor-cat bros and set out on an adventure in the fields where the metal baskets lie. Within moments of setting foot on the course, you realize your life was forever changed by this precise sport, honing your skills to toss the disc with greater and greater accuracy.
Never forget the one rule of disc golf: Never call it frisbee.
