    Japanese Illustrator Draws Precious Pokémon Napping and Dozing Off in Peacefully Sleepy Scenes

    If you own any pets, you'll know that domesticated animals love to be sleeping. It seems like dogs and cats are always snoozing, dozing, or napping around the house. On average, cats sleep around 12-16 hours a day and dogs for 12-14 hours – that's more than half the day! It seems like they sleep much more because their bodies are designed to thrive on polyphasic sleep. That is, they sleep in short bursts rather than at several hours at a time like humans do. 

    If real-life animals spend most of their time lazing around, it stands to reason that fantasy creatures would do the same. Japanese illustrator @Hyogonosuke seems to have had a similar thought process when creating his lovely works of art that feature sleepy Pokémon dozing off in all sorts of scenic locations.
