We had no idea snakes could recognize their owners, but we guess it makes sense. If you spend all your waking hours in the same room as someone, you would probably recognize them even if they were away for a while. The fact that he slithered right up to them and wouldn't let go is just the most wholesome thing.

25-40 years?? Holy moly. Hold on, let us fact-check this for a second…okay, Google says that in captivity they usually live between 20-30 years, with the oldest ever recorded getting up to 60 years old!!! That's one old noodle!
