Leo was trained to alert, and when he did, he would get treats. However, it would seem, that he couldn't quite grasp that he was supposed to be alert for medical reasons and not just because he was in need of love and attention… And a dog loves love and attention, that's why dog people love them so much, because they love to give doggos love and attention!
So whenever Leo alerts his mama, she knows to shower him with all the love and affection in her heart, and he is a happy pup because of that! He even picks out her shoes, which he was trained to do, but, again, he's a drop out, so he's not the best at it. His mama still wears the shoes though, even if they are mismatched… See sweet Leo in all of his glory below!
