25+ Baffling Design Choices Found in the Wild (March 23, 2025)

Have you ever seen something so hilariously wrong on the street that you simply had to text it to everyone you know? I have. Sometimes you're all alone walking down the street and suddenly you see a sign that says "No Dumping of Trash, Use Parking Lot Dumbster" and you immediately need another witness. You can't let yourself be the only one who saw it, you need accomplices to your find. This is a generous impulse, and we thank people like you. We need more people who are ready to celebrate the whimsical. We need folks who can't get enough of the silly things. Every time I get a text like that, my day gets a little bit better. The world is so serious and upsetting that our job as friends can be to just lighten the mood a little bit for each other. And there's no way easier than that than sending each other little goofs and gags.
