Ladies and gentlemen of the internet, welcome back. We all know that money makes the world go round. People who have money love to say that money can't buy happiness, but it can buy the basics to someone fulfilling their wants and needs, which counts for something. Anyone who's ever been in a financial jam knows the importance of money, and how when you're left with nothing and you're depleted, that all you really need to get back on your feet is money. So your boyfriend left you, or you were fired from your job. Of course these things are so incredibly painful and inconvenient, but they don't disturb your basic ability to survive and function in the world. Having a savings is one of the most important things a person can have. Without it, you could end up seriously homeless and desperate.

In the story below, money has become a desperate problem for this couple. The man has gotten his wife out of a seriously large amount of debt, and assumed everything is okay now. To his surprise, he sees that she continues to financially betray him, and is spending more than what they earn. He finds out that she's put them both back in debt again, but this time is for the last time.

This must be so painful for the husband. It's never easy to go through a divorce, or to feel betrayed by the one you love. Financial betrayal is real, and it's still a betrayal and a disrespect. It changes the way you see your partner in your eyes, it changes everything about your relationship.
