Resident refuses to allow entitled neighbor's 8, 10, and 12-year-old kids in their pool after they repeatedly sneak in to swim without adult supervision: ‘I gave them more than enough chances’

As summer approaches, you need to be aware of the role you play in your neighborhood. If you're the dedicated pool-haver, you should expect a line of people at your front door with apple pies and gift baskets, all to say they'd like to make a food-pool exchange. The hot summer days aren't for the weak, but allowing strangers in your pool might be a bad move if you can't control what they do on your property and when they do it.

In this next story, a new homeowner gives their neighbor, Karen, permission to swim in their pool with her three young children. This soon proves to be a terrible decision on the resident's part, as the young children repeatedly sneak into their pool, unsupervised, without permission. Pools can prove themselves to be a major threat to children if there are no adults on standby to supervise their play… especially if the children are 12 and under. The resident, though not the children's guardian, can be liable for anything wrong that may occur while the children are in their pool without their mother keeping an eye on them. If something detrimental happens… they are liable, just like Karen.
