Such is the case in this next story, where an employee asks a coworker they drive to work if they can borrow a single dollar bill to grab a soda from the office vending machine. Now, it's important to note that the employee who posted this story decided to drive their carless coworker to work out of the kindness in their heart. This is about a five-mile detour, but the employee never so much as asked for a dime from this coworker. Maybe that was a mistake, especially because they thought that eventually, their worker would offer even a fraction of the gas cost. They were wrong, and apparently, also wrong in expecting the coworker to cough up one dollar to quench their thirst.
