We have to admit, it does make a huge difference. Say what you will, but leaving work while it's already dark outside feels like a kick when you're already down. We never feel energized to do anything after work, and we end up going straight home every day for months. And that's without even mentioning the rain and the cold that winter brings with it.

However, as soon as the time changes, life becomes fun again. Suddenly, even though you leave at five, the world is still bright. The sun is keeping you company all the way home, and it just feels great. Life is good, we have no complaints.
