Dog pawrent rescues their doggo's doppleganger from shelter, turns out it was their pupper's biological sister all along: ‘They look like they’ve been together their whole lives’

Howdy, animal fam. Happy Monday! Usually, we're grumpier than a bear after hibernation (or a cat on any normal day) on Mondays, but this wholesome story cheered us right up faster than our dog caught its tail this morning. Not only did a doggo get saved from a risky situation, but a fuzzy family was reunited. It's pawfeclty pawsitive, which is the only way we can cheer ourselves up at the beginning of the week. That, and about two extra cups of coffee.

One dog pawrent came across his doggo's doppleganger at a shelter, and they had a hunch that there was a connection there. They scooped the pupper right up, brought her home, and after some digging, found out that the canine was actually their pup's biological sister! Now they are one giant fluffy (and very squishy) family. The siblings are inseparable, and despite having been separated for more than five years, they now sleep, eat, and do everything together. We hope this story uplifts your Monday into howlingly wholesome heights. Enjoy!

Oh, that sweet, squishy face. We love this breed of dogs. Yes, we know that they are likely mutts, but they definitely have some sharpei in them - just look at those rolls, on rolls, on rolls. We love it.

Look at these two! Thick as thieves, they are. One of our best friends (we're more like brothers than friends) lives in another country. We go years without seeing each other. But when we do, it's like no time has passed. Apparently, the same goes for doggos.
