    Spry 20-year-old cat who loves people and junk food greets the kids of the neighborhood every day when they come home from school: 'She sits out to greet them and they all know her name'

    Cats love babies and children. That is the conclusion that we have to over the past couple of weeks. We don't know why so many stories of cats being obsessed with children have been coming out lately, but they have, and we love them. Every single one of them. We want to believe that one day, when we are going to have babies of our own, our cats are going to be best friends with them. We want to believe that desperately, but you never know, right? Except maybe you do. 

    Maybe cats have a soft spot for kids. This senior kitty definitely does. She's sassy, she is quirky, and she is friggin' spry for a 20-year-old cat. And look, she has some habits that we are not the biggest fans of. Eating only junk food is bad for you, even if you are a cat. And crossing the street… at least she looks in both directions every time. But her love for children… that, we're obsessed with, and we hope that she lives many, many more years making many, many more kids happy.
