I eat a lot of avocados. Like, a lot. And I'm not proud of it — we all know how expensive they are. But I can't help it. I had one for breakfast on my toast, another for dinner on my salad, and you know I'm paying extra for guac at Chipotle. It's a sickness, really. And yes, I've seen the avocado documentaries. Avocados aren't just a trendy superfood; they've got their own underground economy. Farmers are out here guarding orchards, cartels are involved, and somehow, my love for guacamole is contributing to an international crisis. But will that stop me? I don't feel comfortable answering that.

I'm not exactly proud to admit I've had this. Not at that price point though… But it was a slightly charred avocado with a special sauce, courtesy of my local sushi spot back in my hometown, and it was to-d*e for. (btw my hometown is in Ohio, if that tells you anything)
