Ahhhh yes, another beautiful Monday ruined by the prospects of responsibility.
With the turn-tides of spring and winter's chapter coming to a close, the workforce is reminded of the beauty of the outdoors. Though we may be stuck in our cubicles, returning to office work in droves, employees dream of cascading grassy knolls, a breezy flower field, and the soft ocean spray on our faces. If only we could live the simple life of a coastal bird or a happy chipmunk, we'd never have to think about spreadsheets again.
But in the grey of the wee-hours of the morning, we rue the day some schmuck invented daylight savings time. We're forced into the office before the rising dawn and unjustly shackled to the confines of our desks. Humans should be free! We should be frolicking! And we certainly weren't born to work a full 40-hour week. At least there's more to our work life than emails, managerial orders, and clocking in—we also have coworkers to gossip with, bland coffee to dress, and memes to procrastinate.
