20+ Reasons people unfollowed their friends on social media: 'They started posting cutesy couple pictures nonstop'

We all have that one friend on social media who can't help but post a Snoopy or Minion meme every day. I bet you know one of these people: they'll share a daily reminder to smile or be a good person or whatever, and somehow, they remember to do this every day. It's good to spread positivity I suppose, but for some folks, that's mildly annoying enough to earn them an unfollow. 

Some people are just way too into oversharing on social media. Posting every moment of your day, every food you eat, plus 10 selfies a day is just a typical day for some posters. I can't imagine being one of those lifestyle influencers who vlogs about their relationship, plus their subsequent breakups. 

Others share every little thing about their child, which I'm sure the kid won't appreciate when they grow up. We truly don't need to know what your baby is eating for every meal of their entire life, yet that won't stop the "sharenting" from occurring. One person even noted that they unfollow someone as soon as they have a baby, which is extreme, but it will prevent them from seeing like posts that are just like 65 photos of "Tommy's first time at Grandma's house!". Parents who use their social media as a "journal" are even worse to me: you could make a private social media page for just yourself and maybe a few trusted family members to follow. But if you're posting about your kid's medical issues or documenting their every step, you're just looking for attention from your numerous followers.
