I had to share this because it's just too funny—my 10-year-old recently started playing D&D (and yes, I am absolutely beaming with pride). However, much like his school supplies, toys, and literally everything else he owns, he has no idea where his character sheet ever is. Every time I drop him off for a session, I ask, "Did you bring your character sheet?" and every time, I get the same casual shrug: "Uhh… I think I lost it."
This has resulted in what can only be described as a very unique campaign—one where, every other session, my son's character mysteriously vanishes, only to be replaced by a suspiciously similar new adventurer. The party is now on their fourth long-lost twin, distant cousin, or inexplicably identical stranger joining the quest. At this point, I don't know if he's lost the character sheet or if this is just his personal playstyle.
I suggested the obvious fix—take a picture of it so he has it on his phone. But honestly? I think he's fully committed to the bit now. New session, new character, new excuse for the DM to weave some ridiculous explanation into the story.
So if you've ever misplaced your character sheet, failed a perception check when it mattered most, or had to come up with yet another reason why your totally different new character just so happens to join the party, these 30 D&D memes are for you!
