Many extroverts get us all wrong; they think that we hate socializing. In fact, many of us introverts love hanging out with close friends and family members, and we do get lonely sometimes. It's just that after every holiday party or weekend hang, we have to give ourselves a few days to recuperate.
I recently went to a friend's birthday party; it was absolutely amazing. I got to see old friends that I rarely have the opportunity to hang out with because we live in different cities. Some of my extroverted friends wanted to meet up the next day as well, taking advantage of us being in the same spot for once. However, I had to politely decline. Instead, I spent the next day holed up and watching Hunter x Hunter, going on adventures with Gon and Killua.
