    If you were to peak into me and fiance's apartment on a random Tuesday, you might think we are simply roommates as opposed to lovers actively choosing to live together. You will either find us cuddling on the couch, watching an old Japanese movie from the 1950s or in separate rooms, refusing to speak to one another over a chore dispute. You see, we both have very different standards of cleanliness for different areas of the home. 

    For example, he cannot handle leaving the dishes soaking overnight; he has to have an empty kitchen sink each morning. I don't mind leaving some evidence of our dinner to deal with in the morning, but I hate seeing clothes strewn on the floor. He has the unfortunate tendancy to leave his PJs on the ground when he's in a hurry in the mornings. As you can imagine, these things occasionally lead to disputes. Despite our differences, we wouldn't have it any other way. I'd rather live with a thousand of his socks on my floor than any other very tidy person. Scroll down for memes if you relate.
