In my household, every package that arrives follows a strict protocol: open the box, remove the contents, and immediately relocate the box to the cat’s designated play area. It must remain there for at least several days—long enough for a thorough sniff test, multiple sit-ins, and possibly a few naps—before it can even think about making its way to the recycling bin. It’s just the natural order of things!
