    'Some guy asked for an onion-only sandwich': 23 Culinary catastrophes to get you uninvited from the next family potluck

    The first thing a lot of us learn to cook is a microwave quesadilla or mac n' cheese on the stove. Nobody is born with culinary expertise so for most budding adults, there's a lot of trial and error in the kitchen. However, the people in this next collection are certainly experiencing a lot more 'error' in their culinary escapades. 

    Alas, the world's greatest top chefs had to make a few unlikely concoctions to test if strange new combinations of food can be delicious together, but it doesn't take an expert to know that Fruit Loops are never going to mesh well with chicken broth. Even the unlearned college kids slapping together instant ramen noodles and steamed spinach would know better than to serve up an onion-only sandwich. But of course, not everyone is born with a food-loving palette and they're doomed to repeat culinary catastrophes meal after meal. 

    So if you've ever boiled over a pot of milk on the stove or accidentally flambeéd a batch of cookies, at least with the photos below to reassure you, you know, without a doubt, that you're not the worst chef in the world.
