After spending all her savings on a luxury vacation, woman turns to friend and begs to borrow money for rent, friend refuses: 'I was holding her accountable'

We all know at least one person who every time we meet we keep wondering how on earth they are able to afford their lifestyle. They spend way too much money on random stuff, much more than they earn, they keep going out and planning these luxury vacations, and they make it seem like their bank account is actually a bottomless well.

History shows, that once these people inevitably do reach the bottom of their financial well, they do not handle it so gracefully. As soon as they realize that their luxurious lifestyle is in jeopardy, they would do anything to keep it, even if the only thing that makes sense is to let it go.

So what do they do instead? They turn to us, their faithful friends, and start asking for favors, usually favors in the shape of dollar bills. Wise people would quickly understand that they are much better off not getting involved, while others sympathize a little too much, and end up making decisions they are soon to regret.

The woman in the story below is a textbook example of the type of people described above. She spends way too much money on luxury items, then acts shocked that she cannot afford her rent the next month. Then she does the only logical thing she can think of – she turns to her friends and asks for loans.
