Let me give you an example of a power couple. I am a proud Hufflepuff, and I am married to a man who is 100% a Slytherin. Now, I know what you're thinking – how can a sweet and loving Hufflepuff ever find a match in a cunning and shrewd Slytherin? But the truth is, we actually complete each other very well.
Every time I find myself saying yes to something I do not want to do, because I can't bear the thought of letting other people down, I can always count on him to help me get out of that commitment. He has no problem telling people exactly what they need to hear, which means I don't have to, and that works perfectly for us both.
As for him, whenever he gets too heated in an argument with someone, as a true Slytherin does, I am there to diffuse the tension. I sweeten his blows and help him get out of complicated situations by simply being a complete Hufflepuff.
