    20 people share what made them quit their job on the spot

    We've all dreamed of quitting our jobs on the spot and walking out at one point or another—surely. Whether it was your boss telling you what to do or handling one too many impolite customers, we've all been a hair's width away from "crashing out" and packing it in. The fantasy alone is cathartic, and almost enough to get you through many a harrowing workplace experience. But the reality is that reality keeps most of us from acting it out. And, so for the sake of our rent or mortgage and supporting our family we toil on and endure.

    But, still, it's a fantasy that persists. You can't help but sink back into that daydream any time your boss is micromanaging you or you see more signs of a once-good workplace culture eroding. 

    These workers all shared their experiences that drove them to finally turn this dream into reality. There's a whole lot of bad bosses, revoked leave, broken promises, and truly toxic workplace experiences in these stories.
