‘[This] is an extreme reaction’: Entitled single mom threatens friendship with woman after she goes on vacation without inviting her and her 2 kids

As we start growing comfortable in adulthood, we notice some changes in the way we do things. Different life factors will get in the way of things you might have been able to do when you were a teen or in your early twenties. There's nothing wrong with that! Life changes and there are many things to get excited about… motherhood is one of them!

However, if one chooses to have children, that becomes an obligation that stumps any other "wants" in one's life. If their best friends are going on a girls' vacation, they might have to sit that one out if the kiddies have to come with them. An adult trip is no place for a child, but the woman in this next story thinks otherwise.

Two women decide to go on a vacation and their friend, who is a single mother, is upset that they did not invite her. Her kids would have to come along, and they didn't sign up for a kid-cation. The mom didn't want to hear that…

The mom doesn't have the right to dictate what her friends do in their spare time. They do not exist to serve her and her children's every wish, yet the mom is acting like that's the case. It's unfair to assume they will change their plans to make the trip suitable for children, on top of the fact that they might have tp babysit her kids if she wants some time to herself. The mom didn't ask, so she will not receive it. Even when they try to compromise, she wants nothing to do with them.
