As much as some of us love to think big and imagine elaborate paybacks and revenge towards people who have done us wrong, we often chicken out at the last minute. Even if we know we have absolutely nothing to lose, gathering up the courage to give those people what they deserve is a lot easier said than done.

That is why sometimes it might be better to plan your revenge not as this big event, but as something small that you might find easier to execute and deliver. When someone gets wrongfully fired, for example, it's so tempting to plot all these sophisticated paybacks that would truly have their boss regret their decision, but actually acting on it is something else entirely. Instead, it might be better to think of something lowkey and simple, for a final jab at the boss's face before completely leaving.

Deleting a random file, changing a password, or leaving some bad food at the back of the drawer of your desk, the possibilities are endless.

The path the employee in the story below took, after they got fired and demanded to return the uniform they already paid for, was both clever and hilarious, which is the purrfect combination in our opinion.
It wasn't too complicated, and it gave them the opportunity to look at their boss's face as they delivered their payback right to their desk.
