It is something that we are all guilty of: we get home after a busy day, have a whole list of things we know that we should be doing, and decide to sit down and spend the next hour or more scrolling on our phones. It's understandable, given that we all need time to decompress and relax no matter how much there is that we should be doing.

Perhaps the key is to embrace the change in perspective, to acknowledge that we need to find a way to take our minds off of things. Looking at memes is a convenient way of doing that, through all the evolutions that internet culture has gone through that is one thing that hasn't changed.
