There are those in relationships that enjoy the holiday to its full extent, planning romantic evenings with their partner to celebrate their mutual love; other pairings dread the day due to over-the-top expectations that they could never possibly meet. Singles are just as varied in their opinions. Some enjoy spreading love to their friends and family despite their single relationship status, and others prefer to ignore the date altogether until the day after when all of the heart-shaped candy is for sale.
