    Love is in the air! Speaking of love, my boyfriend recently gifted me my very first Nintendo Switch. It was supposed to be a birthday gift, but because I already knew it was coming, he let me have it a few weeks before. This is essentially my first foray into the world of Nintendo – besides some random rounds of Mario Kart and Mario Party at middle school sleepovers. The game I requested was, in fact, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and I have become absolutely addicted to it. I only really play for about an hour every night, but it has become an important part of my daily routine. Collecting fossils for Blather's museum, shaking trees for furniture, and selling shells are now essential to helping me unwind from a long day at work. The only downside is that it isn't a two-player game. My nighttime Animal Crossing routine will be no different on the 14th of February because my man loves watching the tiny version of me run around my island.
