Overworked employees simultaneously quit their jobs after their boss leaves, CFO attempts to convince them to stay, but they refuse: ‘Not feeling remotely guilty’

'If everyone jumped out of a bridge, would you too?' is a question we've all heard before, with different connotations to life. It's mostly used when parents pose this situation for their kids after they do reckless things with their friends, to which many kids love to respond – 'Well if everyone jumped, there's probably a good reason'.

The thing is, if everyone you know jumped out of a bridge, there probably is a good reason they did so, and you should seriously consider doing so as well. For example, if all your coworkers decide to leave your workplace, maybe that place is not worth sticking around for. Not to mention, if everyone leaves, all the work will eventually fall on you, and you already know you will not be compensated for that. You will simply be expected to pick up and clean all the mess that was left behind.

Sometimes jumping ship is simply necessary, which is exactly what happened to the employee in the story down below, who was the last to leave their company after everyone else.
